I guess your idea of easy and my idea of easy are different. Thanks
anyways, and I'm sure other readers will benefit from your tutelage. ![]() mcmurtri@sonic.net (Kevin*McMurtrie) wrote: For the 96/97 class: Remove all of the screws - top pocket, window control, the open lever, speakers, and screws around the speaker. Roll down the window. Pry out the plastic triangles behind the mirrors. Pull the top of the triangle towards the back of the car then pull it down. If it's a hand crank window, there's an Omega shaped clip that needs to be removed to release the crank. Tweezers or a hooked wire can pull it out. Place the pin back on the crank after it is removed. (It's meant to be installed with the pin in place.) Pull the bottom of the door outwards until all of the snap-in clips release. Lift the door straight up and off. Transfer any clips to the door cover if they stuck to the frame. The repair manual has more details. It's worth buying if you plan on doing maintenance and repair yourself. |
