Yeah but the that includes the camshaft bearing caps - no? I'd guess you'd
have to at least loosen the timing belt off a touch. This is also unique
to the Civic SOHC engine AFAIK - the DOHC and Accord SOHC engines don't
appear to have those O-rings

The Accord SOHC does have the o-rings, as long as it isn't VTEC.

I don't see them on the recent engines - F23A5 which has the same long
spark plug tubes as the VTEC engines.

As far as I know, the 2.3l accord motors are all vtec. If you bought a DX
(up to 2002) you'd have a 2.2l non vetc.

Yep, you are right my mistake. I do know that on the 97 and earlier, if it
isn't vtec, it does have the o-rings under the rocker arms though. Looks
like from the photos I see that the 98 and later accord all have the "tube"
style head without the o-rings.
