Notice how I clipped out the extraneous stuff and quoted ONLY what I am
replying to--not quoting "pages of text" that people are forced to
scroll through.

Top posting is bad form. There is no excuse for top posting, period.
The only reason people top post is (a) they don't know any better, or
(b) they're just too lazy to change the default behavior in Outlook
Express.

Neither of those is an excuse.

> But who cares?

People who (a) express courtesy to others, and (b) are actual human
beings who follow things linearly in forward order. Those people care.

The others, the ones who top post? They're just spouting off to spout
off.

By the way, take a look at your own message; you didn't even trim what
you quoted. You just let Outlook Express quote everything, relevant or
not, and put your part at the top. Obviously, you're interested in
nothing but spouting off to hear yourself spout off.

Duuhhh... The post should be properly trimmed. The IS NO "pages of
text" to scroll through. Sheesh!

Typical top poster - a selfish jerk.
