Default Looking up Build Date Based on VIN

I'm sure there must be a way to do it as I've had a number of people
tell me when their car was built, but is there a place online I can
enter my VIN number to find out when Honda built it?

Thanks.

Look on the door jam for the federal sticker. VIN# do not
list the build date. A dealer can run the VIN for you and look
up the build date and in service date.

It is simpler than that. The VIN specifies the year.
If my memory is good, it is the the letter by the end of the VIN that tells
the year.
I'm sure someone else here will be able to give more details.
There also should be a sticker on the driver door frame.

It is the tenth digit (coded) that denotes the year, but that is
not he is looking for. He is looking for the build date
for warranty purposes.

No, mike cunt, warranty begins the day the car is delivered, not when its
built.

For that, I guess his local Honda dealer would be the most reliable place.

The the warranty start date is indeed the delivery date but for
warranty purposes one often needs the build date to determine
certain extended warranty coverage, TSB's or for parts.
