Nope, it doesn't really leave much of anything, feels a little oily maybe.
Seems to clean good also.

I think it is rare for a boot to actually wear out... they usually fail
because something tears them (e.g. road debris).

Hi Guys,
Seems like, as cheap as my Civic was, I'll have pleeenty of money left over
to replace whatever I need and not worry about prolonging the life of a CV
Joint.

Just my 2 cents. Just got rid of my Explorer that was terminally ill and
bought an '03 Civic EX, great car!

Or a mechanic poking at it to "see if it's badly cracked".:-) They do
develop cracks over time in the inner folds of the pleats first but they
*can* go a long time/mileage if maintained.
