Hello
Recently I had to open one of the metallic hoses in the power steering pump in my honda accord 92 (132K). Lot of fluid leaked out. I topped the system with honda power steering fluid from PEP Boys. The fluid box said that the fluid is for a Honda, it matches all the honda specifications but its not endorsed by Honda. My Questions are 1. Should I bleed the whole system and fill it with OEM Honda Fluid? 2. In the pump, I found two hoses. One mettalic hose going somewhere, I do not know where . Another rubber hose came from the pump andwent to the reservoir. In the reservoir, there were two hoses which were going out of the reservoir to the lower part of the car. Which of the hoses should I remove for bleeding and from where? Do I need to go under the car to do this job? Thanks and Regards Prashant |
