Is anyone else having this problem? I own a 2003 Honda Civic LX and
when I turn my ac blower on high the air vents move to either one side or the other, I can't get them to stay straight. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Other than duct tape and bubble gum...? -Jason |

Used to have a 2001 2dr Civic LX (Canadian). I'm positive that mine wasn't
doing that even with the AC full blast. My 2002 CR-V doesn't have this problem neither. I'd suggest to head to your dealer and try on another same model Civic to see if it is design issue or a problem with your car. <dold@2003XHonda.usenet.us.com> wrote in message news:bgp422$itm$4@blue.rahul.net... > Jason <jgrimard@yahoo.com> wrote: > > Is anyone else having this problem? I have a 2003 Civic Si and I thought it was just me....but mine is doing it
as well. It doesn't really stay where you put it. I'll check it out at the dealer on my next oil change. This happened with my 94 Civic...although they migrated to blow air up when
the fan was on 3 or 4. I always imagined using some kind of stuff on the pivot points that would increase friction, but I couldn't really think of anything.... that's a great idea!!! I only wish my current car, an 87 accord had this
problem so I could put it to use. :-) "Khosh" <test@test.com> wrote in message news:iat2jvshqr97hvv3ug5pup5jasac2psg5a@4ax.com... > On Wed, 06 Aug 2003 16:04:51 GMT, "Peter Doherty" <peter@acranox.org> > wrote: > > >This happened with my 94 Civic...although they migrated to blow air up when > >the fan was on 3 or 4. My hybrid has the same problem. I was thinking it was designed this
way. Don't know why though. AL Jason wrote: > Is anyone else having this problem? Don't know why though. loose tolerances. the ones in my 98 are ok, but they were made in the phillippines, if that makes a difference. |
