I disagree, unless you restrict that to the 99-00 Si models. IMHO,
it's the 92-95 coupes or the previous gen hatchback. Both of those
seem to have equal cachet, with the 99/00 Si's a possible equal or
CLOSE runner-up. One reason that I give a bit more credence to my view
than my (admittedly overblown) ego normally allows is that even
Edmunds.com says that for the 96-00 year models, "Honda heeded
customers who claimed the 1992-1995 Civic was too sporty looking."
Tells you something, doesn't it?
