Default coilovers or lowering springs

alright i've been through most of the posts regarding lowering springs
and coilovers and i'm still undecided. i have a 94 accord and will
soon be putting on tenzo passion 5 in gun metal 17" (i wanted 18s but
then again i also wanted a job for the summer) any way yes i want to
slam it and yes i know i would have to change the cambers for a more
than 2" drop, but i want to get really close to 2", so my big question
here is... can i get away with getting relatively cheap coilovers like
aerospeed, tenzo, matrix etc. or should i go with lowering springs
that run the amount. i'm looking to spend no more than $225. i know i
should save and get some tein "real" coilovers but i wont have that
kind of money for a long time. if anybody can help me out with some
good advice. i really wanted coilovers cause they adjust but i have a
feeling i want be messing with the height much once its set were i
want it so should i just get some lowering springs for the same price.
thanks

follow up... i found some nice eibach and gold-line lowering springs
that will drop my car close to 2" or past 2" for the gold-line. i know
eibach is great but any experience with the gold-line ?

I heard good things about goldline. Dont have experience with them
myself.

Here's food for thought: If you get coilovers, start saving up for
aftermarket shocks because eventually, the stocks will blow out due to the
lowering and stiffer rates of coilovers. Lowering springs match up to
stock shocks much better.
