My 1999 Accord 2.0 ES reads the external temp as somewhat higher than it
actually is, does anyone know where the sensor is located, it may have slipped and be resting near a heat source? Also, my Air Con snuffles a bit, i've just bought it about 10 days ago and it may have been lying for a while, it does seem to be slightly better than it was when i picked it up, any tips out there? TIA Ed |

What do you mean by snuffles? Is it only when the A/C is on or is it to do with the ventilation fan? If it sounds like there's a restriction in the air passages you might want to change the cabin filter. If it sounds more like water is being sloshed around check that the evaporator drain hole is clear. The external temp was off on my 2002 CR-V too. It was always off by 2 deg C.
There is a way to adjust the reading by +/- 3 deg C. I think I found the procedure at www.hondasuv.com or somebody posted it here. I don't remember what it was but you could probably find it if you search the web.
