I test drove the MDX and it's typically Honda.... cheap plastic interior and
vinyl like leather. The RX300 is far superior in terms of quality. But my
favorite is the Mercedes ML.... too bad its reliability is so horrendous.

seems all merc reliability is down the tubes, since the chrysler takeover.

Some of their vehicles, like the G-wagon and E-Class are totally outsourced
and assembled by Magna-Steyr... or whatever that current corporate
structure is. Magna was also talking about buying Eurostar, the Chrysler
operation in Austria, a while back but I dunno what the outcome was.

RX300 just felt way too cramped for me. Sure, RX300's interior does
"look" a bit more luxurious, but "far superior"? I guess these things
are too subjective to argue about. Oh, btw, does RX300 have fake wood
dash trim or is it real wood?

And funny you mentioned the ML. I had a chance to drive my parents'
ML430 during last X-Mas holidays when I visited them. The handling,
the ride, the suspension, the acceleration felt like the car was on
halcyon. Just imagine what the 320/350 feels like. Out of the three,
by far, it had the worst driving/road qualities. I didn't find the
interior to be that much more luxurious than the MDX either.
