On another make of car (Mazda), dealer checked on the a/c by holding a
thermometer in the air stream. My recollection is that something of the
order of 43 degrees Fahrenheit or lower is considered to be acceptable. On
my current Honda (S2000), the coldness of the air fluctuates considerably,
obviously the result of the way the compressor cycles on and off.
