While i was driving on highway at constant speed of 70mph suddenly
"Maintenance Required" light came on. I stopped the car and shut the engine
off and restarted again but still maintenance required light is on. Its a
2001 civic EX, auto transmission with ~22K miles on it. Any help is
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Insert key in the little slit on the dash... wait til light turns green.

Take the car to a dealership and have the problem diagnosed and
repaired WBMA.

The maintenance light turn on every 7500 miles to remind you to change the oil.
22k miles is about time for the 3rd oil change. Hold the trip button in and turn
the ignition key on. Hold it in until the maintenance goes out.
