That light usually indicates a problem with the fuel injection system. Keep an eye on it to see if it comes on again. If you it stays on, then you have a problem. If it comes on every now and then, then you could either have an intermittent problem (which can be a bitch to diagnose), or it could be a faulty sensor. Like I said, keep an eye on the light and pay extra attention to how the car is running. Also, start monitoring your fuel economy because the engine may seem like it's running fine to the driver but could be sucking back gas which would indicate a problem. Sean |

It is actually exactly the same as the check engine light. They just called
it the PGM-FI light on the 85-87 FI cars. On the 88 and later, you have Check Engine. And 86-87 and 88-89 Accords have the same codes (and with few small exceptions, control systems), they just turned the light from red to yellow and call it check engine.
