They all bend over backwards to make sure that the manufacturer, customer, and even their own employees (generally the mechanics) "eat" repairs or diagnostic work so that they don't have to incur the cost. Sad but true. What this dealer did though is MUCH worse. The paperwork you have clearly indicates that they have committed fraud. In fact they have not only defrauded American Honda, they have defrauded you the customer. You need to make sure that you keep a complete record of all dealings in this matter. NEVER surrender the original documents that you have in your possession and conduct all of your corrospondance via certified USPS mail. Make copies of everything, and if you have any contact by telephone record the date, time, full name of who you are speaking to, and keep your monthly telephone statement with a record of the call. Above all realize that the dealer will continue to lie, and don't let up until you recieve the satisfaction you desire. |
