Don't start off with e-mail to Honda. Call Honda customer service on their
toll free 800 number. The personal touch will get you further with them. I'm sure that Honda will be glad to know what one of their dealers is doing with warranty reimbursement. I also have it written it down in a log I have of all service performed. I also have a copy of the original letter I sent to the service manager (with cc: to Honda customer service) two years ago. Plus my original post is still out there in deja land. Hard to believe there could be any doubt about the veracity of my claim. BTW, thanks to all who have responded to this thread. I called Honda customer service today. It took a while to explain the situation (I think the rep I spoke to didn't initially understand the 'one time service between 75 and 150k' part). Honda has a record of my letter from two years ago (even more evidence on my side). She was going to call the service manager today and have him compare their internal service records with what was submitted to Honda. If there is a disparity, the rep wants a copy of my paperwork. Hopefully I'll hear back from her tomorrow. I'll keep posting as more develops. |
