I have a engine code 2 on my Accord and when the tranny warms-up. it does
not shift gears right.

Is there a fix for this?

Al,
My list of OBD codes states 2 refers to O2B-Oxygen sensor #2

You could visit Auto Zone or many other auto stores to get a free read out
of your OBD codes. Auto Zone even has a database of all of the codes for
any vehicles. Your tranny problem is a separate issue. You would have to
give us more information before we can help you. It is a manual or auto
tranny. Does the problem happen related to all of the gears or just one?
What year is your Accord?

We'd need to know the year and model, and the mileage wouldn't hurt,
along with some of the service history. Who told you the code, and how
did they figure it out?

I have a 92 Accord with 209,000 miles on it. I always service my tranny
every 30k-40k miles. Then engine light flashes 2 short beep.

When the engine is cold, everything is ok. When the car warms-up, it always
go in first gear. When it gets to a certain speed in second gear, the tranny
coast like being in neutral with the RPM up high, but the tranny is still in
D4. I have to stop the car to start all over again.

When the car is cold, there is never a problem. When the car warms-up, the
most I can go is second gear and the RPM will read line. Then if I take my
feet of the gas, the second gear would disappear and the tranny will coast.
When I give it gas now, nothing will happen.

All that I know is that I had the A/C on the other day and I smelled
something burning from the A/C vents; it smelled like electrical wiring or a
burned-up circuit board. After A few minutes later, all hell jump into my
tranny.

I hope this can help because I need all the help I can get.

Sounds like an ECU that's blown up a couple capacitors. You can do a
google.com search for 'honda ecu repair capacitors' and you might find a
couple of DIY repair sites. At least you can see if the symptoms are the
same. Has you car ever been involved in a flood? I have a PDF I'll send.

it may not be getting cooled enough since you say you were running the AC
also. check your coolant and make sure the transmission fluid is full and if
its dirty change it with quality transmission fluid. the coolant does cool
the transmission also.
