Default advise please - 2 wheels hit a roundabout steering/suspension damage?

Because 2 wheels hit a curb the wheel alignment is too far out for the
normal tyre fitters machine m/c to reset it

Took it to a friendly smash repairer and he said probably no chassis damage
so he sent it to tyre company that does steering/suspension repairs

I have a $10000 + quote to replace steering [box power]drive shafts, 2
wheels {alloy]bearings and most suspension components

the car still drives fine but steering wheel is rotated 1/4 turn to the
right, tyres scrub on shiny floors and steering growls on full lock at slow
speed.

Parts delivery is up to 2 weeks.

so the question is

1. would u drive it carefully slowly local only

2. is there a cheap way to get it made safe so it can be traded in? - cost
of repairs below write off market value 15-20000?

3. Which guide do insurers use for market value?

$10k? you need a second opinion.

imo, if the frame is straight, it's likely that a good deal of the
suspension/steering componentry is too. wholesale replacement is just
dumb racketeering. suspension/steering /is/ expensive, but not $10k
expensive. unless you had a /real/ smash that /did/ bend the frame, i
can't imaging a scenario where you would have bent the driveshafts.
maybe the boots are torn, but that's a seperate issue. bearings? you'd
hear if they'd been brinelled. bent knuckles? possible, but not $10k
possible. steering rack? yes, that's more than possible, but again,
it's just not possible to approach $10k any way you slice simple
componentry replacement.

get a second opinion. or a third.
