Hello

Is the oil filter wrench made for the Element necessary to replace the
oil filter? Can I use a regular oil filter wrench or does the one for
the Element make it easier?

Without even knowing anything about it, wouldn't the custom made oil filer
wrench be the better choice.

It is about $22, but it is worth every penny if you do several oil changes.
