I need help with some issues on my 2000 Honda (read Isuzu) Passport.
1)The two rear passenger doors are VERY stiff to open. - It's almost like they are glued to the rubber door sill. The sills are crumpled over at the top rear corner of each door. Could this be a cause? 2) Proper lubricant - Also, what is the proper lubricant for the thin metal bar that connects the door to the frame? I've tried WD-40, but that does not last very long. 3) Tar like substance - I also have a tar-like substance oozing out from the bottom of a couple of passenger doors, as well as the rear cargo door. Anyone know what might be causing this? I live in Maryland and only drive 100-150 miles a week back and forth to work. TIA, Hawkeye65 |
