Default like water in the gas

i have a 91 honda DX with dual point programmed injection system as of
recently has ran fine ,but now after it starts and ran awhile it
hesitate, like water in the fuel ,but i added dry gas ,gas treatments
with no avail, and sometimes will stall, but at idle runs smooth, but as
soon as i step on gas pedal will hesitate, and backfire thru throttle
body? ,but as long as i keep the rpm up it runs good i`ve replaced the
aux injector, fuel filter, when the main relay quit last year could it be
the main injector?, car has 207,000,there are no dash light saying there
is a problem. you guys got any ideas?

Just to cover the base, how long since the last timing belt change?

i have a carburator and i had a problem like that, it would idle good, then
soon as i stepped on the gas it would lose power then i would back off the
pedal and it would work ok. i fixed mine by pouring 4 bottles of that carb
cleaner stuff in the gas tank. i did this twice and it went away ialso
sprayed all the linkage with the spray cleaner. it seems that my problem
started after several days of rain and when its wet outside.

i hope this helps

make sure you've definitely covered all the other bases, but if this
doesn't work, and it's not losing coolant, try changing the thermostat.
the gauge won't show anything because it has a funky sensitivity
function, but these things deteriorate over time. yours is 14 years old.

i recently did this for my 89, & it now drives like a different car. i
i tested the old one - it kinda worked, but was opening too hot & not
opening wide enough.

If the rad is totally full, and the reservoir is full to the line, it
sounds like your timing belt has skipped a tooth or two. As was asked
before, what's the specs on the TB? Time and mileage both matter....
