Hi all

I have a base RSX with a standard HU. The problem is that my FM
radio reception is not always clear and static free. In fact,
there is annoying static where, with my previous teg, i had none
(same location, same stations..), nor do I have any with my other
cars. The dealer says there is a TSB from Acura about that and
that the static is normal. I am attributing this to the fact the
antenna is located inise the rear window. Could this be the
problem?

I do not think changing my UH will change anything if the
problem, is indeed the antenna (or will it?). I wold hate to have
invested into a new HU and not have good reception. Does the FM
reception quality truly vary from HU model to another. Any advice
to help me pin-point if the rear antenna is indeed the problem? I
hear about FM booster could help but have no idea if they do
actually work: any one of you have experience with such boosters?
Anything else I could try? TIA
