Is it a fairly common problem with the '01 Civics for the interior door
panels' cloth trim pieces to come loose? Have you guys found this particular repair to be relatively easy to do on your own--or did you end up having an auto upholstery shop do it for you? If so, was it an expensive repair cost? J. Perry |

What did you find out? I am looking at a used 01 Civic at a dealer with the
passenger door panel needing replaced. "J. If you are looking at a dealer, write it into the sale that they get it
fixed as part of the deal. On 1/5/05 9:18 AM, in article crh0fl$cckf$1@news3.infoave.net, "Rob" <rdbdriver@blomand.net> wrote: > What did you find out? Haven't checked with any auto upholstery shops yet, but I'll let you know what I find out as soon as I do. Since my original posting on this thread, I have looked at about a half dozen other Civics with the exact same issue. One of them was from the generation of Civic that came out before the one like my wife's 2001. It appears as though the fix shouldn't be that difficult or expensive--but sometimes I get surprised when dealing with car repairs. J. Perry > "J.
