Default Black Trim on Civic

Have 98 Civic EX Coupe. Keep it looking good, except I have a problem
with the black trim at the top of the door panels and the black outside
frame of the rear side windows.......they are very grey and weathered
looking. Tried several things to try and clean them up, with no luck.
Any ideas?
