Did they fix the cracking glass problems yet, on the 2004's.

Based on my experience, no. My windshield cracked. However, the dealer
fixed it at no cost to me.

Or even better stuff to use would be duct tape. That's in case there's no
ducks that need to secured in place.

Is anything done when the replacement is installed? Or are we supposed
to keep going back as they break?

There are *MANY* complaints about this problem. People have reported
cracks forming after less the 100mi. I was very close to buying an
Element but I may now wait until the '05 comes out, if at all. I don't
want to worry about a known problem with a new vehicle. Very un-Honda-like.
