Default Torque Converter Check

I finally found a transmission for my 86 accord. (Thanks for all the help
and advice from everyone on here) Since i have the tranny off there is
something that i need to know, when do i check/replace the torque converter.
I didnt really notice any bad shifting prior to the transmissions failure,
should i replace this with the rebuilt transmission? Thanks

It will be even harder to find when the old one goes out in the middle
of nowhere and You've got to do the whole job over again.
