I've been told after the Dealer has serviced my car that I have 5mm left on
the front brakes and 4mm left on the rear. What they don't say is what percentage that would be or how long they would probably last at this point. Any ideas? tia Peter H |

Firstly, what kinda of 2000 civic do you have? does it have ABS? How many
miles on it? As far as 5mm left on the front, you should be able to get quite a few more clicks outta that, but a replacement in 4-6 months depending on your driving style is probably in order. The rear should be OK, as long as they are drum brakes, I have orginal shoes on my 98 Civic LX 4dr (CDN). t |
