1996 Honda Accord LX Could a stuck EGR valve cause contaminates in the engine?
I have a 1996 Honda Accord 18K miles on is and the engine blew up. Rod
snaped and throught the side of the block and throught the pan. I had a used engine installed and the honda dealer was having trouble getting the car to run smooth at low rpms but ran okay at driving speeds. They figured out the EGR Valve was stuck and they replaced it and everything was good. My old engine had been rough at low rpms for a long time I ask the dealer to look at several time and they never found anything. The inside of my blown engine looked very mucky and I change the oil every 3K . Could a stuck EGR valve cause contaminates in the engine?
