Have owned both. Accord is a driver's car. Camry is like driving your front
room. One is fun, the other will get you there in perfect comfort. Take your choice.... When we bought the 2007 in Jan 2007, the Accord kind of sucked. But with the 2009s, the Camry is nice, but the Accord has caught up in some ways. For the money and the specific audience, though, the Camry is still a slight winnder. Both are aimed at that "typical" upper middle class that are almost ready to buy a Lexus or an Infinity. We almost bought an IS250, but the back seat was only a tad bigger than my (now lamented) 308GT4. Say four bags of groceries or two small coworkers headed to the sandwich shop 3 miles away. > > > > >"tww1491" <twaugh5@cox.net> wrote in message >news:exiJm.24927$1g6.14956@newsfe10.iad... >> >> "mri 1397" <mri1397@gmail.com> wrote in message >> news:a05e1b28-768d-41a4-ba51-e064b0434b39@z3g2000prd.googlegroups.com... >>> accord vs camry . >>> >>> opinions please >> >> If you believe the GM commercials, Malibu is better. Of course, I > own and Accord and would not have it any other way. I have a Ford Fusion (58,000 miles - 0 problems) and think it is better than any of them (especially if you consider cost). However, of the two (Camry and Accord), I'd go with the Accord. Camries are too much like Buicks - a car intended for a blue haired old lady. They are so dull you can fall asleep just walking past one in the parking lot. And given Toyota declining quality, I think you'd be less likely to get an Accord with problems (just be sure you take care of it - Honda's don't take well to the sort of neglect Buick owners are famous for). I have no idea which of my multitude of Lazurus Long books to find it and was too lazy to do so and instead drew it from a memory that, after two years of the most intesive schooling I've ever experienced, is shot if it doesn't have to do with shooting a six view t-spine. I'll correct it in a second. Since you are also a fan, I just found out that "Time for the Stars" is back in print. This is the first SF book I read and got me into reading so seriously that I'm surrounded by over 3000 volumes. Of course, Carol helps that number. Anyone want an autographed copy of "Finding Mr. Right"? I have two, since the author is a personal firend and Corgi owner. Want a Sandra Brown book? I know them (they were news and weatherchick in Tyler befoe they got married and I threw their paper). There are a number of Heinlein's out-of-print books that are coming out in the next two years. > > >RFT!!! >Dave Kelsen -- - dillon I am not invalid "Always shoot first. Excellent. I will look for "Time for the Stars"; Heinlein is one of my favorite authors. The quote is from the notebooks of Lazarus Long, two interludes in "Time Enough For Love". RFT!!!
