Oh, it IS undercover. It's cleverly disguised as a Toyota when it's really
a Tercel.

I meant the window.

Ah, and you can see someone directly behind you who's, shall we say,
10 feet away?

There's a reason those 18 wheelers have signs on them that say "if you
can't see my mirrors, I can't see you."

I can see most of my 16' utility trailer in both my left and right mirrors
when I am towing it. I'll admit that I still use the rear view mirror as a
third source of rearward vision. The more you can see the better off you
are.

Tinting it dark enough that one can't see in or out of it is the same
as removing the useless piece of glass.

Yes, if you're speaking of a someone in a vehicle or if I am reversing
and have been checking my mirrors throughout the maneuver the answer is
still yes.

Not using it (as you claim) is rendering it useless.

Would you fellahs quit poking this sack? He isn't going to get it; he
doesn't want to. Might as well leave it alone.

So, you are agreeing with me. You can't see directly behind the
trailer. I'll let you try to reply, and then leave this thread.
