I have an aftermarket stereo in my 2000 civic, and I was wondering if my
oem stereo would fit in my friends 1987 SI without any additional
modifications. Thank you. Bill

The connectors are different, so at a minimum you need an adapter for
that.

there would be some modification, but not alot, you'd need a harness plug
for the 2k deck, unless you wanna cut yours out (not recommended) then by a
harness adapter for the 87 and splice the appropriate wires together
