I finally installed the auto-dimming mirror in my 2003 Accord EX-L. THe
auto dim feature workd quite well and the compass is reasonably accirate, more so than I expected. My problem is that my moonroof will not operate now. I realize that the connector for the mirror on the passenger cabin also has the roof cable wiring for the moonroof controls. Before I open up the lower dash again, does anyone know why the mirror installation killed the moonroof? I assume (makes an ass out of U and Me) that not all the wires were installed in the jumper provided and that I will have to put in some wires. Aside from that problem, the installation went exactly as the enclosed instructions detailed and there were no other surprises. Thanks in advance, Dave Reply only the the newsgroup please. My return email address has an obvious addition to reduce spam. |
