The ones on my Accord and Odyssey either needed boot and/or joint
replacement with less than 150,000 miles. The boots also seem to age with time, cracking, from exposure and use I suspect. For me, I now avoid front wheel drive cars. Besides other innumerable disadvantages, the entire design incurs additional maintenance on axles that rear wheel drive cars don't seem to have. - Phil "05eagle" <jmp0102@unt.edu> wrote in message news:7355507b6f3451508c8a57e792d51518@localhost.ta lkaboutautos.com... > I have had to replace the CV boots and joints constantly on my car.
