Hi folks;

I'm thinking of installing a hitch on my 02-Civic 5 speed. Does anyone know
if this will void the factory warrantee? I'm getting this installed by a
professional hitch installation garage. All I'm going to tow is boxes and
camping equipment and will not exceed 1000lbs.

It may void your warranty, and it will decrease the resale value
of your civic.

It specifically says in the manual that civics are not designed
for towing. Honda engineers their products very specifically,
so you could take the chance, taking the above into consideration,
but there could be consequences...
