Help, tonight I tried to turn off my ignition but it was very hard to do
so, the key would not come out

Make sure the shifter fully seated into "Park" and the button popped all the
way back out.

Did you have any recent transmission work done? It could
be your linkage. If so, it should be a minor adjustment that
a dealer can do in a few minutes. How many miles you got
on the vehicle? Year, make, model?
