I am quite sure you don't have an odometer cable. Both the speedometer
and the odometer are electronic and get their signal from the vehicle speed sensor located on the transmission. Why do you want to replace the odometer cable? Speedometer is analog not digital - and it seems to be making a noise - in
the old days - we just lubricated or replaced cable... "Randolph" <trash@junkmail.com> wrote in message news:40774AED.243238B4@junkmail.com... > I am quite sure you don't have an odometer cable. Maybe a thorough description of your problem would be the best place to start . . . . Somebody around here is bound to have a helpful answer. www.hondasuv.com would be another good place to describe the noise. 'Curly' |

As a side note, the Prelude in the early 90's actually used a conventional speedometer cable and had the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) mounted in the instrument cluster. |

I just removed my dash to put in a tach, and it's all electrical, no cables to be found anywhere. Nate |
