I have an '88 Civic. The service manual doesn't mention any special
techniques for pressing new bushings into the rear lower control arms. The arms are different from those on the '89-91 Civics in that they're formed from sheet metal not cast iron like on the later models. I'm concerned about collapsing the arms during the press operations. I've checked the AllData database at my local library but didn't find any specific information pertaining to the rear lower control arms. Does anyone have any experience replacing these bushings or know of a source for information? Thanks, Dave |
