I went to Honda Owners Link and regestered my 2001 Accord EX-L and it
said that my car was manufactured in Japan.

I wondered if a lot of Accords were made in Japan so I went to Edmonds
Used Car listings and I looked at the VIN numbers of the Accords for
sale around here. About 2/3rds were 1HG and 1/3 JHM.

It's a good idea to regester your car at Owners Link, I learned about
an extended warrantee. There is no charge.

VIN number plus I was told at the time of purchase that it had been
manufactured in Japan.
