It's true. I have a '92 Accord with 215K on the odo, and the rotors
have never been off. Every year or so, I knock the corrosion off the outer edge with a hammer. The rotors are fine. I have owned the car since new. bob G-Man wrote: > > I've done my 2001 and a friends 2001 with no problem. The 90's honda rotors can be removed w/o damaging the bearings
if you use 2 10mm bolts and beat on them. It is still quite a task. I got an article from the web a few months ago when I worked on my 97. I have since helped a friend with his as well. I just tried to search the web and could not find the article again, so I uploaded a copy of it to my page. see the link below. http://home.earthlink.net/~csmoko/3501.pdf Chip Stein wrote: > "G-Man" <somebody@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:<104f23t5ou4mt60@news.supernews.com>... > > I've done my 2001 and a friends 2001 with no problem. I ended up having someone with the tools do this one. They at least used my
parts. Come to find out I had some bad wheel bearings. Expected at high mileage. Not sure it the bearings or warped rotors were my problem, but it's all good now. I'm a happy camper.
