I have to replace my radiator......again in my 92 Accord EX

Original Denso worked well but leaked;
Replaced with an Aluminum one -- short life

Now I'm thinking it is better to get the copper KOYO because it will outlast
the AL. What I did notice with the AL is the cooling fan came on less often
with AC on or off. But, I still have my original Denso in my 91 Accord LX.

Has anyone else experienced shorter life with the Aluminum? Warranty in many
cases are a joke. However, I can get liftime replacement with the KOYO
including the shipping costs.

Any thoughts?

Personally I like an all metal radiator instead of the aluminum/plastic
composites. At least the all metal type can be easily repaired if it does
leak at the tanks.

The other comment is to religiously flush and fill your coolant no less
often than once per two years, and use either a pre-mix anti-freeze or your
own blend of anti-freeze and distilled water. This can greatly extend the
life of cooling systems.
