Will AC/DC converters drain your battery?
I was thinking of getting one of these for my laptop/pda/ etc. Will they

Well, yeah, they'll drain your battery. How much depends on how long you use them. Use them with the engine running or, barring that, stop using them every once in a while and run the engine to charge the battery. Some have a safety feature and will shut off prior to draining the

I take it the battery drain is only a problem if you are running _without_
the car on?
