You should be running your AC in the winter anyway just to keep the seals pliable. Don't worry about the little bit of extra gasoline you're using. Do your vehicles have a manual recirc mode? If so perhaps
you are operating in recirc mode, when you should be on outside air. mike hunt Brian Doennebrink wrote: > > I have 2 Hondas with the same problem (an Odyssey and a Civic): the windows > regularly fog up in the fall/winter. Must be a new for '01 |thing. Almost all cars since the 1980s at least, run the A/C to dehumidify the air before warming it. Makes the defroster more efficient. Rex in Fort Worth |

There is a ventilation setup position on Honda '04 Accord where you can defog the window-shield and warm up your tootsies at the same time. Does anybody know if that will turn on the AC? -- GusTheCat ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted via RealCarAudio.com - The checkmate of the caraudio community. http://www.RealCarAudio.com GusTheCat's Profile: http://www.realcaraudio.com/forums/m...fo&userid=3684 View this thread: http://www.realcaraudio.com/forums/s...threadid=45276 |

There are some who are saying it does on the newer Hondas. The only way to know for sure would be to open the hood, start the car, set the heater controls to that position, then look at the compressor and see if the clutch plate is spinning. |

I have a 2003 Accord and yes, the windshield and feet setting turns on the
AC automatically.
