Default replaced clock light still not working - '02 Accord

My clock light has been out for a while now, so I finally went to the dealer
and got a replacement bulb today ($2.06). R & R'd the bulb, but still no
light.

Anyone else experienced this? What's the possibility of getting a dead
bulb from the dealer?

noob,

Just reach up behind the dash and borrow a bulb for the park brake
indicator, or battery, or whatever, and try substituting it. It's easy
on the old Odyssey, but your wrist may not be skinny enough for your
Accord. :-(

Does the dash dimmer control on the '02 work 'backwards' like the older
models do?? I think the clock doesn't dim, anyway.

OK, I'll have a look at that tomorrow when it's a little lighter outside.

Not sure how the older models were set up. This is my first Honda (car).
The little knob on the dash by the speedo dims the dash lights (everything,
including clock, hazard light switch, etc.).
