I have a 2000 Honda Civic HB, and those Firestone's you have were original
OEM equipment on that model of Civic.
I can say without question that they are complete JUNK! The are about as
good as a piece of plastic. Mine needed to be replaced at 48000 kms. Go with
the Michelin HydroEdge; they're new to the market, and are awesome!
