A little light starts coming on even before you reach a "major" mileage
milepost and if you don't go to the dealer for the servicing, how can you
get shed of that annoyance?

What year car?

Do you have the owner's manual?

Have you called the dealer?

You don't have to go to the dealer. The procedure to turn it off should be
in your owners manual.
