Default Stolen Chromes

hi, i heard that if u buy mags and they happen to be stolen, that they can
check the serial number of it or something and u can be caught, is this
true? thnx

I suppose you could use some tool stamps to put your VIN on the inside.
But no one keeps any list of such numbers for reference checks.

i didnt steal anything, a friend said he can get me 2nd hand mags cheap, and
my brother says dont get them cos if they r hot u can get in trouble

is he bullshitting so i dont get them?

The only way you can get in trouble is if the cops can prove that you knew
they were stolen. Most of the time, they just seize the stolen property and
you're out the money you paid for them. That's when you hunt down the guy
that sold them to you and kick the living shit out of him.

They might match the description of a set that was reported stolen. And,
they may be noticed on your vehicle by an observant officer (or even the
owner, may see them on your vehicle and call the police). You might be
charged with possession of stolen property and have to appear in court as
well.
