Default Honda Care Warrenties

After I got off the floor from hearing my dealers price for a HondaCare
warranty I found a dealer selling them at a reasonable price. If you are
looking for one call Claire Olson at Dick Brooks Honda 1-800-936-9090 or
e-mail her at claire@dickbrookshonda.com............

update: I got 2 quotes from different sources..... but first, when i bought
the 2002 ody, was quoted $999 by the dealer for 5 years/ 70k miles, if i
remember right... And if i left the lot and came back the next day, it would
be $1,500 for the same thing..

One of the quotes today was 6yr/100k, $775.... and 5yr/100k, $675..... I
believe the second source was similar... will be getting info from both in
the mail.

With the navi and power sliders, am seriously considering the 5 year (which
i guess is really 2 additional years, right?).... but with one year of
ownership, and 19,000 miles, either will probably do.....

I got the 7yr 75k for 685. My dealer wanted about 900 and that was his
reduced price. I am retired and we don't put many miles on anymore so won't
hit 75k and will get rid of it in 6 or 7 years....

So what's the difference between Honda Care vs. other extended
warranty?

Thanks

HondaCare is the warranty by the manufacturer. Others may not be there when
you need them.

Thanks. now how do i go about obtaining the extended warranty?
Do I just call up Claire below? I live in Seattle, WA by the way and
just bought a pilot but the dealer was selling another warranty (OlympiCare)
7 year, 90K miles for 1600.00 (with a 50.00 deductible). Read over the fine
print and saw some
neg. posting on the net re: OlympiCare so I turned down the offer.

But they never mentioned that theres such a thing as Honda Care.

The best deal I could find on HondaCare was from Dick Brooks Honda in
Greer, SC

Notice the the HondaCare warranty is exclusionary, i.e., it lists what
isn't covered. All else is covered.

Make sure you have the Honda Care Warrenty. Others may or may not be in
business down the road or cover as much.
