Hello everyone,
I have a 91 Accord EX sedan and the original HONDA audio does not accept the audio tape in. But radio is fine. I dont know if its a good idea to get it fixed or buy a new one. I was looking for cheap but decent CD players and saw one called XTREME WMS353 which is for $90 at Walmart. I don't know if its a decent one to buy. All your suggestions /feedback would be valuble to me. Thanks in advance ! _-------------- |

Get a pioneer...
Check ebay...trust me you won't be sorry...they are great CD players....will make your speakers sound a lot better. You might want to look into buying a set of 6 x 9's or 6.5's also...they will really sound good with your new stereo head. Buy a new one! If you go to a good electronics store or stereo store you can get a new CD player that is decent for under 200 bucks. If you can even get the tape deck repaired it will probably cost u just as much. I don't know if its a decent one to buy. If you want it to last, buy something name brand. Check out your local Best Buy - their website shows a number of CD receivers by Pioneer, JVC or Kenwood in the $120-130 range. I'm sure you can find it for even less if you shop online. No personal experience with the site you listed, but I bought from www.thezeb.com before and had good experience. Lower prices than Crutchfield of course. Cheers, Pete |

I was about to buy some speakers which were recommended as a direct fit for my '88 Civic that Crutchfield had given good reviews. Well, I went and listened to them at a couple of stores and quickly discovered that they were not what I wanted, they sounded dull and lifeless. Even my old stock speakers sounded better. Eric |
