I have never done such a job so can't provide advice. It's my guess that
the cost would be over $1000 unless you plan to do the work yourself.
Another option would be to trade your Honda in on a newer one that already
has disk brakes. Take it a Honda shop and get an estimate. They may charge
you for the time but at least you will have an idea of how much money you
will have to spend. If there is a mechanic in your town that specializes
in Honda cars--take it to him for an estimate.

HI,

There's a big brake conversion for Civic. I remember
reading about it in an import tuner mag a few months ago. Kit was $800ish

Also I think but check it out for yourself. The CRX Si had 4 wheel disk
brakes.

Chris

I'd go a step further and get the front knuckles, rotor, calipers, brake
proportioning valve, master brake cylinder and rear brake assembly off a
90-93 Integra without ABS. That setup would use OEM components, and
really make your Si stop. This setup was used on the 90-91 Civic LX 4
dr I think.

If you are mechanically inclinded, it's been done numerous times. Check
honda-tech.com for more info.

Correct. You will also need the e-brake cables from the Integra--the Civic
ones are too short.
