Hi, I have a Accord 1998 LX manual transmission, and i want to install a
remote starter system, and i don't want to install a bypass to the transponder with key inside, but i want to remove the immobilizer system. I read a bit on the subjet and i'm not sure if is only to put a relay to grounding the PGM-FI main relay is the best way. If you have any hint, please reply it would be appreciate! Julien Bolduc. |

I don't have info on 98 but my 96 BMW uses a transponder. The transponder is
a separate unit that sends a signal to the ECU. That signal for your car is still in question. A Honda service manual could explain. Supplying a homemade signal to the ECU would effectively remove the immobilizer. I don't understand the part about the main relay.
